First CNC file
The design combined the mounting plate, curved board supports, and the Boosted logo into one useful object. The new part was turning that design into toolpaths and trusting the machine to follow them.

Boosted Board Wall Mount
My first CNC cut—and I watched every second.

I made this in 2020 as a wall mount for my Boosted Board. It was my first CNC project, so I held the vacuum beside the router for the entire cut while I watched the machine do exactly what I had programmed.

Vacuum duty
I was paranoid enough to hold the vacuum nozzle next to the router for the full cut. It looked a little ridiculous, but staying that close taught me what the machine sounded like and how it moved.
Useful when finished
After machining, sanding, finishing, and assembly, it became a wall mount that actually held the board. That made the first CNC experiment feel like a real project instead of a test piece.
